Should sign language be an option to learn in school?

'Should': what are the benefits, spreading awareness

'Sign Language': what type of sign language - BSL, SSE, Makaton

'Option': qualification, part of form time curriculum, certifications as an option

'School': teaching it from a younger age, secondary, primary

How can we increase/widen the learning of sign language?

'How': schools, reduce the stigma of hiring deaf people in workplaces 

'Increase/widen': across the country, Britain, schools, 

'Learning': lessons, certificates, levels (1,2,3), courses

How would it benefit the deaf community if British Sign Language could be taught in secondary schools?
